Facelift can be minimal or extensive...
It is extremely important to tailor a facelift procedure to fit the individual patient. Many patients may do well with what is called a mini-facelift (S-lift, weekend facelift). Typically, these patients have minor drooping of the neck and jowls, which requires a smaller procedure that will incur less healing time and a lower cost. However, if a patient has a very heavy neck, jowls, or cheeks, then a full facelift should be performed. I tell patients that if you are going through the recovery time and paying the money, then you should get a result that is excellent and lasts a long time. If you are not sure which procedure would be best for, just call for a free consultation with Dr. Miller and he will happy to discuss everything with you.
